Happy 2012 everybody! I'm just back from a holiday at sea, so I'm feeling great. I'm ready for 2012. I'm hoping to come up with a lot of new designs. Here's the first one already. A heart shaped leaf pendant. Wouldn't this be a wonderful gift for Valentine's Day? It is also available as a brooch and as a custom made item (printed with your own photograph).

The textile industry is polluting because of the large quantities of water use, global transportation and chemical dyes. That is why I investigated new production methods where local raw materials are being used. Waste and residues from the local industry around national park ‘de Biesbosch’ are together with the natural materials the base for the development of yarns, pigments and techniques. The result is a industrial produced, local textile collection.
