RAW_Materials, collection Biesbosch
The textile industry is polluting because of the large quantities of water use, global transportation and chemical dyes. That is why I investigated new production methods where local raw materials are being used. Waste and residues from the local industry around national park ‘de Biesbosch’ are together with the natural materials the base for the development of yarns, pigments and techniques. The result is a industrial produced, local textile collection.
